Steve Anderson has been a trial lawyer since 1988. He has significant experience in various types of litigation, including commercial, product liability, and medical malpractice. Mr. Anderson's practice focuses on the defense of serious personal injury and wrongful death cases as well as a variety of commercial litigation.
He has tried over fifty jury trials and appeared numerous times before the Tennessee Court of Appeals, the Tennessee Supreme Court, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. In 2009, he was inducted as a fellow into the American College of Trial Lawyers. In 2007 and 2008, Mr. Anderson was named by Tennessee Business as one of the state's best 150 lawyers and, likewise, was named in 2003 as one of Nashville's Top 100 lawyers in Nashville Post. He is also a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Mr. Anderson was raised in Nashville and graduated with highest honors from Baylor University in 1985 with a B.A. degree and graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1988, where he was the Articles Editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. He has spoken at numerous continuing legal education seminars as well as groups of physicians and health care providers.
